Name of Father of the Nation on the current circulating 100 rupee note is wrong

According to the details, 75-year-old Muhammad Mohsin from Karachi indicated that the name of the father of the nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the location of the photo behind him are incorrect in the currently circulating 100 rupee note.

Muhammad Mohsin, a retired civil servant, noted that a close examination of the memo ten years ago showed that the spelling of the Quaid-e-Azam’s name in English was not identical to the spelling in Pakistan’s constitution (Quaid-i-Azam). On the back of the note, along with the printed image, is written Quaid-e-Azam Residency, Ziarat-Quetta which was supposed to be Balochistan.

The Federal Ombudsman has directed the State Bank of Pakistan to immediately correct two errors that appear in the caption printed vertically at lower left back of the 100-rupee note:

QUAID-E-AZAM RESIDENCY, ZIARAT-QUETTA  (error) to become
QUAID-I-AZAM RESIDENCY, ZIARAT-BALOCHISTAN (correct)

Pakistan unissued 1969 Coin

As the conflict grew between East and West Pakistan during the late 60s, hatred between the people of the two partitions kept on increasing. To slow down the effect of hatred among the people Government decided to use Quranic verses to promote the brotherhood between the people.

In 1969 a coin was designed with the verse ‘Innamal Mu'minuna Ikhwah’ from ‘Surah Al-Hujurat’ which translates to ‘Muslims are Brothers’, but for some reason, it never got issued. The conflict concluded to the collapse of East Pakistan.

As expected State Bank of Pakistan clarifies in their tweet that the design circulating on various social media platforms is fake.

Proposed design of Rs. 75 Banknote

Following images of proposed design for the new Rs. 75 banknote to be issued on the 75th anniversary of Independence are making rounds on the social media. Legitimate or not, time will tell. In my opinion it's a working sample or a design by a graphic designer not the final design.

Pakistan 1947 Pattern Coins

The coins were two of a total of six pairs of pattern Rupee prepared in 1947 prior to the commencement of coinage for the newly independent Dominion of Pakistan. Neither of the designs was adopted and when Sinclair-Jones (Mint Master at Lahore) left Pakistan during the turmoil of the 1947-1948 riots, the four sets were lost and their present whereabouts are unknown.

Pattern #1

Pattern #2

Pattern #3

A nickel pattern Rupee dated 1947 as per the adopted design of 1948 exists. It is possibly the only known specimen.
